Imagine falling in love with someone who you thought would give you the world but instead you get a life full of chaos and fear. This week, listen to Sam tell Cati’s story of her falling for the wrong man in a Firehouse Subs restaurant in Simpsonville, S.C.
John and Cati would fall in love quickly and take the next step, even though her family and friends were not very fond of their relationship. Unfortunately, John would turn out to have issues that Cati was not aware of. These issues would lead to underage partying, domestic violence, and police encounters.

Cati would decide to move on from the marriage but not before telling the police what type of hell she had been living in. Coincidently, Cati would wind up murdered not long before the domestic violence trial.
John would take off running with his 17-year-old girlfriend, causing a 6-year nationwide search for a murder suspect that was captured on July 20, 2022, in Oregon.
