What steps can you take to make sure your divorce doesn't cause permanent damage to your child's development? Are there any studies that research the short and long term effects of FORCED visitations, meaning that the child strongly (hides, cries, has suicide/self harm thoughts) rejects the visitation. A friend of mine had two girls that said that visitation felt more like a sentence. Their father was not abusive, but he did not interact with them at all, he housed them. if there are studies, could you share the links?
