For this Week's The Green Line Radio Show, It is a trying time for Agents as the Agency deals with problems along the border and the effects of Covid19 on...
mostra másArt attends a Muster and wanted to speak to a watch commander after the muster only to be told to wait. The conversation between that watch commander and supervisors is pointed towards and belittling of agents and after about a thirty minute wait he told Art he had no time to talk with him. That didn't sit well with Art. The situation reeks of this Watch Commander being a bully. Should this type of attitude from the Watch Commander be allowed? How could this in any way help the morale of the Agents?
Art reminds us of his availability to Agents with concerns in operations of their duties. The situation at Musters doesn’t provide the best practices for Social Distancing and Art offers some suggestions and solutions for the safety of the Agents and their families. Art and Andy talk about the current situation along the Southern Border and highlight numbers can't always represent due to Getaways.
Art shares a story about Border Patrol being requested by the Marcela Taracena of the ACLU not to be in public spaces such as hospitals or Covid19 Testing Facilities out of fear of possible illegal aliens by passing health services. Tucson Sector U.S. Border Patrol Chief Roy Villareal answers the article perfectly. Art also shares info on a facility that was built by CPB in Tornillo Texas. Could that Money have been better spent towards training and supplying for the needs of Agents?
