In 1999, Cherica Adams was planning the birth of her child with NFL player Rae Carruth. Rae played for the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte, North Carolina, and while people thought everything was great on the outside looking in, there were real problems that would lead to murder and attempted murder at the hands of Rae himself.
Rae would later admit he just hooked up with Cherica and did not want her to go through with the pregnancy, but Cherica refused to abort her child. This is where things would take a dark turn for the mom-to-be.
