Descripción
In this episode of The Green Line Radio Show, Art Del Cueto shares his experience of the stress levels and challenges faced by the Border Patrol at the southern border....
mostra másDuring his presentation, Art shared some information about how Tucson processes individuals who turn themselves in for asylum or are caught entering the country illegally. He also mentions that there are cases that affect the amount of time Tucson can incarcerate these individuals and how cartels are using children to help adults be released sooner.
Art believes that the "norm" along the border has been completely twisted over the last couple of years, and it's time to get back to healthy operations. He recently participated in a border tour with Kirsten Sinema and others to raise awareness of what is happening along the southern border, with particular concern for the agents of the Border Patrol. Art shared with the touring members about some of the situations they're finding, such as large numbers of individuals taking Ubers to get a bite to eat before turning themselves in, and emphasizes that this norm must stop.
