As some of you know, I recently had an absolutely life changing experience down in Austin for South By Southwest 2019. I got the privilege of officially covering the event for iHeartRadio and SXSW itself, and I am SO excited to get my documentary out to y'all soon!
Until then, I decided that a recap more from my perspective as an acting member of the press who is actually a superfan would be a great way to offer some context on how all of this craziness played out while also giving you a taste of the content that will be featured in my movie!
In part 2, I recapped days 4-6 of my festivities at SXSW which included:
- A$AP Rocky's Panel on Fashion
- The Daily Show's Presidential Twitter Library
- Showtime House featuring Francis & The Lights
- A session on Podcasting with Spotify CMO Dawn Ostroff
- HempToday presented by CannabisNow
- NPR's Tiny Desk Family Hour
- A Mentor Session with Marketing Manager of Native Instruments Mahtab Neptune
- Torchy's Pop Up Restaurant
- Culture Collide's event featuring Tierra Whack
- EventsDC's event featuring The Glitch Mob
I also touched on how I got my bag stolen in the middle of my trip and ended up having my faith in humanity restored by the interactions that happened because of it. Stay tuned for my full length documentary recapping ALL of SXSW coming soon!
