After six women were found dead near or in Portland over the span of a few months, there were obvious concerns that a serial killer was preying upon vulnerable women. The Police had other ideas though and came out and said that there was no reason to believe that a serial killer was at work that was until they reversed course recently and admitted that four of the murders were related. The person they say responsible? A man who was let out of prison early during the COVID pandemic.
In this episode, we hear from family members who rip the police department over their inaction and how slow they were to react even though one of the fathers of one of the missing girls reported the man who is now the suspect in the murders to the police for choking his daughter. The police never followed up with him and now, that same man is being accused of murder.
