March 13, 2020 will always be a day that sticks out to me, as that was the true last day of my senior year of high school before the whole world as we knew it moved remotely and took a turn for the bad. Crazy to think that is now half a decade old, and it's nuts to think about where I'm at now. 17 year old me was committing to college by that point, ready to begin a career in college radio and hope to pursue media professionally. Now, 22 year old me is thriving in commercial radio and with the Pags' Perspective podcast.
It's only right that I take a look back on my perspective of those events in March 2020 and really dive into how my high school journey in broadcasting really shaped the person I am today. Plus what we can all learn from those events, and maybe, just maybe, a little bit about a certain winning college basketball team from Jamaica, Queens...
