When you’re told what success looks like from a young age (good grades, college, 30-40+ hours a week at a good paying job) it’s easy to feel like you know your next step. Well, that was a lifestyle that Mignon Francois was not ready to settle into when she decided to “bake sale” her way to breaking the cycle. As stay-at-home mother of 6+1 with no prior baking experience (not even out of a box) trying to make ends meet, she knew she was destined for more than just the daily grind. Starting her baking journey with a dorm refrigerator and Kitchenaid mixer in her living room, she knew the only way to go was up. Not being able to see the well laid plan before her, she credits her faith and spirituality in allowing her to always look for the lesson when her path forward seemed unsure.
