Génesis 45: ¡Ya comprendo porqué pasé por lo que tuve que pasar!

Génesis 45:1‭-‬15 RVA2015:
José ya no podía contenerse más delante de todos los que estaban en su presencia, y gritó: —¡Que salgan todos de mi presencia! Nadie quedó con él cuando se dio a conocer a sus hermanos. Entonces se puso a llorar a gritos, y lo oyeron los egipcios. Y fue oído también en la casa del faraón. José dijo a sus hermanos: —Yo soy José. ¿Vive aún mi padre? Sus hermanos no pudieron responderle, porque estaban aterrados delante de él. Entonces José dijo a sus hermanos: —Acérquense a mí, por favor. Ellos se acercaron, y él les dijo: —Yo soy José su hermano, el que vendieron para Egipto. Ahora pues, no se entristezcan ni les pese el haberme vendido acá, porque para preservación de vida me ha enviado Dios delante de ustedes. Ya han transcurrido dos años de hambre en medio de la tierra, y todavía quedan cinco años en que no habrá ni siembra ni siega. Pero Dios me ha enviado delante de ustedes para preservarles posteridad en la tierra, y para darles vida mediante una gran liberación. Así que no me enviaron ustedes acá, sino Dios, que me ha puesto como protector del faraón, como señor de toda su casa y como gobernador de toda la tierra de Egipto. »Apresúrense, vayan a mi padre y díganle: “Así dice tu hijo José: ‘Dios me ha puesto como señor de todo Egipto. Ven a mí; no te detengas. Habitarás en la zona de Gosén, y estarás cerca de mí, tú, tus hijos, los hijos de tus hijos, tus rebaños, tus vacas y todo lo que tienes. Allí proveeré para ti, pues todavía faltan cinco años de hambre; para que no perezcan de necesidad tú, tu casa y todo lo que tienes’”. »He aquí que sus ojos y los ojos de mi hermano Benjamín ven que es mi boca la que les habla. Informen a mi padre acerca de toda mi gloria en Egipto y de todo lo que han visto. Apresúrense y traigan a mi padre acá. Entonces se echó sobre el cuello de Benjamín su hermano y lloró. También Benjamín lloró sobre su cuello. Besó a todos sus hermanos y lloró sobre ellos. Después de esto, sus hermanos hablaron con él.


Este es el momento cúspide de la confrontación entre José y sus hermanos. ¡Los siguientes capítulos serán muy conmovedores! Ver la cara de sorpresa de los hermanos, el impacto emocional al descubrirse de la verdadera identidad del representante de faraón, y el grito impresionante de José.
La reacción de José no fue de recriminación, de restregarles en la cara su pasado, de reclamarles y reprenderles sus malas acciones. Al contrario, él les explicó que realmente todo fue un plan de Dios el que ellos actuaran de esa forma, y que Dios lo permitió porque quería salvarlos de este tiempo de sequía y muerte.
José entendió la soberanía de Dios, y que la injusticia sufrida no supera el propósito extraordinario, pues ese fue el medio para que José estuviera en la posición donde estaba.
Esto me impactó mucho porque es señal de un corazón que ha sanado, que ha entendido que Dios tomó sus heridas para convertirlas en virtudes. Que usó una injusticia para que José pudiera estar capacitado y para tener compasión de los necesitados. Que ésta fue la escuela de formación para que José fuera un hombre con un carácter firme y con convicciones bien establecidas en su corazón para poder tener la capacidad de entender los planes profundos de Dios.

Hoy podemos aprender que no importa las vivencias duras que hayamos vivido en el pasado, porque cuando confiamos y perseveramos en la fe en Cristo Jesús, Él hará que todo esto obre a favor nuestro; cumpliendo su propósito divino en nuestras vidas y en la de nuestras familias.
Únete a tu pareja y a tus hijos para que juntos crean que Dios hará proezas con cada miembro de su hogar, siempre y cuando no renuncien al llamado, al plan divino de Dios en medio de las adversidades.
Las adversidades pueden hacer que nos desesperemos, que perdamos la esperanza y nos desanimemos, o también puede hacer que dependamos más en Dios, ¡nos hará entender que Dios es soberano y que no se equivoca! Todo depende de la actitud y acción que tomemos frente a esto. Si Dios nos llamó es porque nos está preparando para el futuro, aunque no lo entendamos en nuestro presente.

Escudriñemos:
Lee y PARAFRASEA los versos 5 al 8. Identifica qué palabras claves usó José para explicarles a sus hermanos el razonamiento del plan de Dios en los eventos complejos que ellos vivieron.

Genesis 45: Now I understand why I went through what I had to go through!

Genesis 45:1-15 NKJV:
Then Joseph could not restrain himself before all those who stood by him, and he cried out, “Make everyone go out from me!” So no one stood with him while Joseph made himself known to his brothers. And he wept aloud, and the Egyptians and the house of Pharaoh heard it.
Then Joseph said to his brothers, “I am Joseph; does my father still live?” But his brothers could not answer him, for they were dismayed in his presence. And Joseph said to his brothers, “Please come near to me.” So they came near. Then he said: “I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt. But now, do not therefore be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here; for God sent me before you to preserve life. For these two years the famine has been in the land, and there are still five years in which there will be neither plowing nor harvesting. And God sent me before you to preserve a posterity for you in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. So now it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.
“Hurry and go up to my father, and say to him, ‘Thus says your son Joseph: “God has made me lord of all Egypt; come down to me, do not tarry. You shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and you shall be near to me, you and your children, your children’s children, your flocks and your herds, and all that you have. There I will provide for you, lest you and your household, and all that you have, come to poverty; for there are still five years of famine.” ’
“And behold, your eyes and the eyes of my brother Benjamin see that it is my mouth that speaks to you. So you shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that you have seen; and you shall hurry and bring my father down here.”
Then he fell on his brother Benjamin’s neck and wept, and Benjamin wept on his neck. Moreover he kissed all his brothers and wept over them, and after that his brothers talked with him.


This is the climax of the confrontation between Joseph and his brothers. The next chapters will be very touching! See the surprised faces of the brothers, the emotional impact upon discovering the true identity of the Pharaoh's representative, and the impressive cry of Joseph.
Joseph's reaction was not one of recrimination, of rubbing their past in their faces, of claiming and reprimanding their bad actions. On the contrary, he explained to them that it was really all God's plan for them to act that way, and that God allowed it because He wanted to save them from this time of drought and death.
Joseph understood the sovereignty of God, and that the injustice suffered does not exceed the extraordinary purpose, since that was the means for Joseph to be in the position where he was.
This struck me a lot because it is a sign of a heart that has healed, that has understood that God took his wounds to turn them into virtues. That He used an injustice so Joseph could be empowered and to have compassion on those in need. That this was the training school for Joseph to be a man with a firm character and with well-established convictions in his heart in order to have the ability to understand the profound plans of God.

Today we can learn that no matter what hard experiences we have lived in the past, because when we trust and persevere in faith in Christ Jesus, He will make all this work in our favor; fulfilling His divine purpose in our lives and in our families.
Join your partner and your children so that together they believe that God will do feats with each member of their home, as long as they do not give up the call, God's divine plan in the midst of adversity.
Adversities can make us despair, lose hope and become discouraged, or it can also make us depend more on God, it will make us understand that God is sovereign and that He is not wrong! It all depends on the attitude and action we take in the face of this. If God called us, it is because He is preparing us for the future, even if we do not understand it in our present.
