150,000 Georgians age 65 an older are living with Alzheimer’s. That figure is expected to reach 190,000 by 2025 according to the Alzheimer’s Association’s 2021 Alzheimer’s Disease Facts and Figures report which provides an in-depth look at the latest national statistics on Alzheimer’s prevalence, incidence, mortality, costs of care and impact on caregivers. Linda Davidson, Executive Director of the Georgia Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, discusses these findings.
