This week, we interview Dr. Anita Cheng, Neonatologist at LHSC. Dr. Cheng gives you the run down on everything you need to know about Neonatology as a specialty. As well, she is also the lead for the Global Health curriculum at Schulich Medicine. She goes in depth on global health, what got her interested, how medical students can get involved, and the impact that getting involved has on you and the community you get involved with. She also shares some insight on her research in Reflection Theories in Medicine, and shares a heart-wrenching patient story that played a role in pursuing this research. Thanks for listening!
