Welcome friends, to another episode of the True Riches podcast.

In this episode, we begin a crucial and timely series titled 'God and Guns.'

In this first part, we'll delve into the complex and often controversial topic of guns in the context of our faith.

Whether you are wrestling with questions about self-defense, seeking to understand the true nature of discipleship, or simply curious about a Christ-like response to violence, this teaching is for you.

We'll explore Jesus' teachings on nonviolent love and turning the other cheek, and contrast them with the modern-day fascination with guns and violence in the United States.

We'll also discuss the historical and biblical perspectives on this issue, and the challenge it poses to our understanding of true discipleship.

I invite you to listen with an open heart and mind.
