Teaching children to be philanthropists and to help those less fortunate is the goal of a movement of grandparents and active seniors learning and sharing their roots in social action with their grandchildren. Founded by Executive Director Sharon Morton, a retired educator with decades of experience in social action training, Grandparents for Social Action is a driving force in the growth of grandchildren’s social identities, and a positive influence carrying on generations-old traditions to the newest generation.
