Today is dad’s birthday. He would have been 80, which is weird to say. He’s been gone 3 years now. I miss so much, especially his laugh.
It’s also the day Jeremy proposed to me. He called my dad beforehand to ask for permission. Thankfully, dad said yes...and then so did I.
My dad always carried a handkerchief so on the day I got married I gave him a handkerchief below.
Dad passed away 2 days after my and Jeremy’s 6th wedding anniversary. I now have that handkerchief as a reminder of his love for me and my love for him.
