Your Audio Curators, Jas and Sher accepted an offer to go on a private ‘Haunted’ tour of the infamous ‘Man & Nature Museum’ with listener Brian Langlotz. Here Brian shows...
mostra másHere Brian shows them where he has heard voices of ghost children laughing and running through the museum galleries, Mannequins moving and deceased sailors remaining on post in the afterlife on the docked Nonsuch vessel.
Many odd and unexplained occurrences have been rumored to happen throughout the years in the Museum. The hauntings and shadows that are witnessed have even been captured on security footage. What is the root cause of this?
Opening in July 1970 (the Planetarium previously opened in May of 1968) brought a promise for the Museum to educate and bring people together to learn, and encourage discovery for all young and old. However with the Collections, clothing and artifacts it has seemed to invite a different level of participation to the galleries.
Is it the artifacts that seem to be brought to life? Were some of these donated possessions actually haunted?
Or are their owners still ‘attached’ to them?
Do the taxidermy animals still embody the spirits that were thought to be left behind?
Why do objects move on their own and ethereal voices seem to linger in the galleries? Pianos play on their own? Dolls are heard to cry & laugh?
After we hear the first hand tales on Jas & Sher’s guided tour …..you decide if The Man and Nature is haunted……
