In this episode, I tell the story of my very unsuccessful attempts at psychedelic microdosing, an adventure involving a shower floor, full-body tremors, a suspiciously animated loofah, and the realization that perhaps my body and fungi are simply not meant to be friends.
Underneath the ridiculousness was a bigger question: Why was I so determined to keep trying?
Lately, I’ve been curious about what else is in there, what we haven’t uncovered about ourselves yet, what happens when we challenge the way we think, and why some of us seem to have an almost insatiable need to keep digging a little deeper.
Sometimes curiosity expands your mind. Sometimes it just leaves you sitting naked on the shower floor wondering why the curtain suddenly has supermodel legs.
