While digging through my Stan LeProtti and LaSierra High PE archives last week, I discovered an interesting "Health Pyramid" that was part of LeProtti's health and PE curriculum at the University of South Carolina. The pyramid was from a health textbook circa 1978 (still trying to locate the actual source). It was so good that I decided to make a health lesson out of it for my 3rd-5th grade PE students. Here's how I taught it in elementary school. Enjoy! :)
