IMMANUEL
Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23


Jesus was called Immanuel. One of Jesus’s roles is Immanuel.

Before Jesus, we couldn’t see Him, feel Him, touch Him, hold Him, or hear Him.

Before Jesus, there was no true remedy, solution, resolution, or vaccine for shame, guilt, condemnation, sin, hell, the devil, judgement, and damnation.

Before Jesus, there was no way to make peace with God.

God is with us through Jesus. God’s favor is with you. That includes His promises, presence, power, grace, mercy, love, kindness, goodness, blessings, peace, joy, strength, wisdom, and deliverance.

God is with you when you are sad, fearful, make mistakes, are frustrated, discouraged, sick, in debt, homeless, jobless, and friendless.

God is with you in laughter, singing, success, mountain tops, and victories.

The reality is I can do life without a wallet, ID, phone, social media, technology, friends, car, house, job, television, sports, gaming, music, pizza, coffee, toilet paper, mask, vaccine, gloves, and face shields. I cannot do life without Immanuel. (John 6:67-68, Acts 4:12, Acts 17:28, Colossians 2:10, John 15:5, 2 Corinthians 3:5)

When you really believe Immanuel, God with me, there are no “all by myself” moments, seasons, or times. (Isaiah 41:10, Psalm 23:4).

I.(1 Samuel 7:14) King Ahaz of Judah is about to be attacked.
•In spite of what’s attacking, God is with you.

II.(Matthew 1:23) God is ending 400 years of silence.
