I made my first sale but I am still waiting for the new Appy Pie app to go live, somewhat impatiently if I am honest.
hey folks whoa I've really really relapsed into um not recording morning and night for this show so just to fill you in a bit this Show's changed companies that I work with so I've had to go back to square one um I was getting lots and lots you know like 500 downloads a day etc etc and something occurred with the company and I just had to move away from them and blah blah I won't give you the the boring details but what it means of course is that I'm supposed to be uploading regularly so that I can build up my my listeners again but life took over yesterday with building my app for my clothing line and you know just a general craziness with anxiety because when you work on your own you are responsible for everything that goes wrong and you're Your Own Worst task master I mean here's the irony we work alone because we can't work with other people but then we give ourselves such a hard time when we effort royally you know um so I built this app which is it's not really for the clothes the clothes are sort of by you know they're on the app you can buy them on the app but I was going to charge and then I decided and this is a really big thing if you're thinking about starting an app okay I've gone with apple pie they try to sell you everything in the package you know they try and sell you a platinum package and all you get all the time are these bloody salesmen coming up in the chat box and I can't bear them I honestly they really bug the pants off me um but you have to sort of feed your way through that or or you know you've got to look at the options guys you have to know what you're not buying as much as know what you are buying do you see what you mean so that took two days out of my life then I managed by some fluke of nature to make my app public um on Google um Google play but it was a sort of experimental version and it was Char I was charging for I was charging to 99 and then when I just looked at things I thought I can't charge for a brand new app the only apps in my opinion the only apps that I'm willing to pay for and I think a lot of people are willing to pay for are the ones that incorporate facilities such as AI that for example edit all your photographs to make you look 20 years younger and you know um AI to create drawing tools stuff like that particularly works well with photography production anything you're producing um I mean I bought a couple of things for my iPad but I like personally I don't like subscriptions so for my iPad I bought procreate for example which I use all the time for all of my designs I love procreate and I paid I think I paid 20 pounds for it but it's a lifetime you know and I I like to do that but it's got a feature I can make great art with it now my app is for music therapy that's the main thing and the the clothing line is is part of it you know it's the merch that goes along with um all the free um recordings that I do now that if you're supplying something free but you're getting royalties for it and this is what I've decided I get royalties for those recordings anyway I don't need to try and make money out of other people listening to them on top of my royalties my royalties are fabulous you know they just come it's all automated through my distributor it's all done for me through YouTube etc etc et cetera I don't I do not have to worry about any of that it's all done the app is quite expensive I've got the 30 pound the uh I think it's 28 pounds a month um I'm not sure what that is in dollars but more uh but the same but more if you know what I mean the the um the rate of exchange but so it's probably about 35 maybe for you guys but I you know for all I know they charge different amounts in America anyway so I wanted a play note Simple app and they said that's 10 pounds a month from 10 pounds a month this is where they get you you see so 10 pounds a month that's really affordable it's it's a walking website the website that I have on the desktop is very slow to load it doesn't work with an app I need a dedicated app right if I'm going to make money guys I need a dedicated app ninety percent of all my visitors are on their phone actually I think it might maybe more I think it may be more than that that's an incredibly high amount so I need a really Sleek interface I need something that doesn't take ages chocolate and all of that that's why you need an app you need to open up your Google app console start all your account get all that done I mean it's so pretty complicated honestly I was tearing my hair out um so yeah I decided after initially thinking I wanted to charge so that that went live but I didn't want to charge anymore and also the vert the old version was live and I didn't want that anymore the pictures were crap and you know I mean excuse my low level Street gutter language but really crap you know and I I was getting so upset that this version of my app was possibly available well it was available because I downloaded it so it was available and it wasn't sure pictures of me you know pressing around on my Instagram half dressed you know I don't want those on my app nobody's going to take a music therapy app seriously if all I've got on there uh um you know crass selfies you have to bear that in mind the internet is you have to direct people to see what you want them to see if if they're coming at you I mean sure I I love my you know my fitness stuff and and you know all of that that I do and I'm I'm really proud of my body because I'm on this diet and I'm working really hard with it but I pretty much guarantee that anybody looking for music therapy using the the rife Vibes which is what I do specifically are not going to be interested in my vital stats you know what I mean in my living room why am I going to show them that so this is really interesting stuff isn't it this is what you you kind of have to really work out what it is that the impression that you want to give to the world as they come to look at your work yeah um so yeah yesterday I didn't I didn't broadcast at all but I'm back today um I won't be doing so much music now I'll do that tonight come back to tonight's um music show around about midnight I'm I'm not going to be so tired today and I'll tell you all about you know um the things that have happened how I'm going to you know make my first million what am I going to do am I getting there all of those things because I think that's really what's interesting about you know opportunities for older women you've had your kids that you hardly see them anymore you know thankfully really because you know you'd be so embroiled in that and I like I quite like the distance if I'm honest I mean I miss them terribly I want you don't want to see them every day though I mean God we we argue all the time we disagree on so many things you know I mean my children are so ballsy they're really this kind of strong individuals and I I just think you know I'm a bit bit scared of them to be honest um but uh you know you you've got that menopause out the way hopefully it's all done and dusted no more hot flashes and what have you um and and now we're going to live for another 40 years possibly another 60 years you know people are living well into their hundreds now I said remarkables exciting time to live but what that means is you need to start a career otherwise you're going to be doing nothing for the next half a century I mean do you want to be doing nothing I certainly don't want to be doing nothing I mean look if you've got um I don't know a husband who takes up a lot of your energy or or you're very linked with your family and they're very close to you and you do a lot of babysitting and all of that then okay fair enough but for me I've I haven't had a properly successful millionaire type career yet in my life and I want it and I'm damned if I'm gonna get it you know I really am going to achieve this and things when you take on that sort of attitude because so much of becoming a rich person is about the attitude that you have and visualizing it and seeing it now look I'm going to be doing music therapy to get rich as well so they're going to be some Vibes that um probably to stay out tomorrow I'll get those up for you know actually self-hypnotism visualization how am I going to become wealthy how am I going to become successful how am I going to become happy you know if you don't want wealth and success that's not going to make you happy then don't wish for it but if if you wish for what you wish for is really really important because you are in control of your universe you're not in control of the other Universe everybody else's Universe you're not in control of that but you've got complete control over your own Universe trust me on this I know it for a fact you have control right now you might not understand that you have control you might not be able to see that you have control but you have choices look unless you're in jail unless you're in a domestically violent relationship unless you're a refugee in Sudan people in the west are very much in control of virtually every aspect of their lives and knowing that understanding that really deeply connecting with that is how you get successful I know this to be true because I'm doing it um anyway I'm gonna go off and carry on lots of videos I'm videoing every day for the ranges for the ice I've learned fashion ranges I'm so thrilled sold my first one really excited really excited it's like whoa finally you know finally but it's taken you know so I mean the work the artwork that I'm using spans 20 years of my life 20 years of artwork is going into this clothing range obviously it's been modernized obviously I'm giving it a a futuristic modernist take of course I am I wouldn't be an artist if I wasn't doing that I'm changing it up I'm upping my game every single morning when I make these
