God is the one who is drawn you to himself to pray. So use these five key instructions to know your prayers He Hears and Answers.
1. Ask Him– Jesus said in Matthew 7:7 to ask, and it will be given to you. This is the very basic starting point of all prayer. However, it is also one many people misunderstand. The Spirit of God himself alive and active in you is the one who stirs you to come to the Father to receive what the Father knows you already need.
The Father does know what you need before you ask, however your asking shows your Dependence upon Him, for you are dismissing lots upon yourself and self-governance and coming to him for help to meet your needs. This means that your eyes are open to him working all around, to the things that he's doing so you can see that the answer you need he has already sent. However, until you see Him and ask him you won't see what he's doing around you, because your eyes are blinded by the world.
2. You need faith - Abraham Is an Example of God's in Birthing Faith in Him, When He Told Him That He Would Have a Son in Old Age. Genesis 14:14. How Did Abraham Respond?
He did not wait for in unbelief or distrust, doubtingly question God concerning the Promise of God, but he grew Strong and was EMPOWERED BY FAITH by faith as he Gave Praise and Glory to God, Fully satisfied and assured that God was able and mighty to keep His Word and to do what He had Promised. Romans 4:20-21
Jesus gave clear instructions about faith and prayer in Mark 11:22-24:
He said, Have Faith in God…
Therefore I Say to You, Whatever Things You Ask When You Pray, Believe That You Receive Them, and You Will Have Them.
Essential to receiving from God is to ask in faith, Him Divinely Persuading you what to ask, knowing that He Knows What You Need before You Ask.
3. Be Persistent – the Holy Spirit Reveals in Scripture That You Should Pray without Ceasing, or Is Easily Pray. (1 Thessalonians 5:17) You Should Always Have an Open Channel to God. He is always with you so be thankful.
Praise him and thank him for the small things and big things you have much to be thankful.
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
I Thessalonians 5:16-18
The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit. James 5:16-18
4. Humble yourself. It is so important to remind ourselves: “it’s not about me.” God is awesome and glorious. There is no one like him. He alone is worthy of glory and honor and praise! We need to compare ourselves to Jesus, not to those around us. Then, we begin to see ourselves as we ought.
God instructs you To HUMBLE yourselves, under the mighty hand of God, that at the right time he will honor you.1 Peter 5:6
5. Pray in the name of Jesus.
Jesus is bigger than any optical you face. Just as scripture says: Greater is he Who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4.
God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the NAME that is above every name, That at the NAME of Jesus every knee must bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, And every tongue frankly and openly confess and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11
Jesus Himself Tells you: Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. John 16:23-24
All power has been given to Jesus in heaven and on earth. Matthew 28:18
And according to his mighty power at work in you, you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above what you can even ask think hope or imagine. Ephesians 3:20
Jesus tells you: if you ask anything in my name. I will do it. John 14:14
