HSI STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Grants fund programs that support Latino student academic success to prepare for science-based careers. Grant Project Director, Rafael Valle, explains the HSI STEM Grant program at Las Positas College; The Gateway to Success. Learn how complimentary tutoring in science courses, mentoring panels with STEM professionals, academic counseling, and internships prepare Latino students for transfer to a 4-year college.
