This lesson opens the heart to a deep spiritual renewal, inviting us to step out of old patterns and rest in a present untouched by past judgments. It reminds us that as we let the future rest in divine care, all concepts of separation gently dissolve, and peace becomes the natural state in each unfolding moment. In simply being, free from the grip of the past, we are welcomed home to a place beyond time. Themes of this satsang include non-judgment, the release of old perceptions, and forgiveness as pathways to peace and oneness.

Jenny Maria shares reflections on the exhaustion born of constant judgment and offers guidance on reconnecting with our true nature—whole, holy, and already united with Divine love. This space encourages surrendering personal judgment and welcoming each moment as it is, trusting that wholeness is our natural state. Jenny’s reflections on the Authority Problem, from A Course in Miracles delve into one of the core sources of inner conflict and suffering.

In Chapter 3, Section VI, the Course explains that the "authority problem" is our attempt to assert our own will and judgment in place of God’s will, trying to define ourselves and reality based on separation rather than unity. This conflict, or split within the mind, arises when we believe in our own power to create truth apart from divine love, causing us to feel both lost and defensive. Jenny expands on this by describing how judgment—a central aspect of the authority problem—makes a false sense of control and a heavy strain on our mind and spirit.

Judgment makes perception seem real as it divides, evaluates, and rejects, pulling us away from the experience of peace that comes with unity. When we cling to judgment, we unknowingly declare autonomy - that we are separate from divine love, believing that our self-made definitions and evaluations are real. This process makes for an exhausting cycle of mental strain and fear, since we are constantly defending a self-made, vulnerable identity. Releasing the authority problem, as Jenny shares, means allowing ourselves to rest in God’s "authorship" rather than trying to create or control reality. By acknowledging that our true identity is given by divine love, we lay down the exhausting task of judgment and step into peace and freedom. This choice to recognize God’s authority allows us to experience our wholeness and unity, feeling deeply loved and complete, without the need to control and define and make our “own reality”. Judgment is the belief that reality is ours to pick from, so by releasing each moment’s perception we free our mind from the bondage of separation from God or the Whole!
