Dr Apostolos Papandreou, from University College London, is leading research into treatments for the disorder which could also have positive implications on more common disorders as well.
To tell us more, we welcome in this episode also Dr Jean-Pierre Lin, EPNS Board Member and President of the British Paediatric Neurology Association.
