Josh Alexander and Jordynne Grace retain in an underwhelming card on paper. KOP discusses how the Honor No More storyline is getting thin and cumbersome and asks why notable veterans like Frankie Kazarian and Bully Ray have returned and instantly been elevated.

1-Frankie Kazarian defeated Mike Bailey (c) by submission for the Impact X Division Championship- Kaz's victory is indicative of his unsung hero run in AEW working Dark and Dark: Evolution. Very good match. Speedball had a nice run but is a worker and doesn't offer much on the mic.
2-Mickie James defeated Mia Yim by pinfall in a Career Threatening match aka The Last Rodeo
Had Mickie James lost, she would have been forced to retire from in-ring competition. Mickie giving Mia a loss in unfortunate. I'm not sure if I like the idea of Mickie going over the Knockouts roster. I would rather see Knockouts outside the company take some of these matches.
3-The Death Dollz (Jessicka and Taya Valkyrie) (with Rosemary) defeated VXT (Chelsea Green and Deonna Purrazzo) (c) for the Impact Knockouts World Tag Team Championship- The reimagined Jessika with Rosemary in tow will be good to have for the interim. Deonna and Chelsea should go back to singles competition.
4-The Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) (c) (with Maria Kanellis) defeated The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) for the Impact World Tag Team Championship- Honor No More is a storyline that is losing steam. The ratings are not just down because of TNF. HNM Faction has been around all year and they have gotten so much TV time. I'm about done with the faction. Teases of dissention with PCO and Vincent with no payoff. They have gotten the upper hand on Bullet Club and Violent By Design. I dont see most of this group staying on the roster so I dont get what good it does to keep this faction intact. More on this after the world title match.
5-Bully Ray won by last eliminating Steve Maclin in a 20-person Intergender Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match. The winner receives a trophy and a contract they can invoke anytime within one year for a championship match of their choosing.-Thought Maclin should have won. Had a ECW reunion with Dreamer, Rhino and a returning Bully Ray. Johnny Swinger added a nice moment of levity. Bully takes out Maclin. Maclin is over. Like Moose they hold off bringing up to the world title picture. Not sure if I want to see Bully take on Josh in nothing more than a one-off at say Hard to Kill.
6-Jordynne Grace (c) defeated Masha Slamovich for the Impact Knockouts World Championship-Jordynne Grace I hadn't paid attention how she is now in incredible shape. She is in her prime now and she is the right Knockout to hold that belt. Great match with the undefeated Slamovich. KO division is as always the strongest part of the Impact Roster.
7-Josh Alexander (c) defeated Eddie Edwards for the Impact World Championship-Hard to see Eddie in a conventional match taking away the hardcore persona that was by far the best gimmick he has had. Josh and Jordynne are strong young champions to keep on top into the New Year.
