On today's podcast, It's Only Sport host Martin Devlin tackles stories brewing in both men's and women's rugby that are making waves in New Zealand, with even some in the UK turning their heads. First off, Devlin delivers a sermon questioning comments made by Black Ferns co-captain Ruahei Demant, who's demanded that New Zealand Rugby invest more money in the women's game. While there are strong arguments for and against, Devlin feels that whether or not women's rugby receives more money comes down to a simple economic equation - profitability.
Then, Devlin is joined by UK rugby writer Chris Jones who discusses All Black Jordie Barrett signing with Leinster as part of a six-month sabbatical, Mark 'Watto' Watson offers his thoughts on Demant's comments, Matt Gunn does his best to be positive about Penrith Panther Taylan May and his social media antics, and WalesOnline football writer Tom Coleman talks Wrexham A.F.C. earning promotion to the third division of English football.
