Hey there surfers and beachgoers! It's time for your Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia surf zone forecast fun report brought to you by the National Weather Service in Jacksonville, Florida....
mostra másToday, we've got a *moderate risk* of rip currents, with surf heights of 2 to 3 feet. The thunderstorm potential is low, so it looks like a great day to catch some waves. Remember to slap on that sunscreen because the UV index is *very high*. The water temperature is a nice 75 to 80 degrees, perfect for a refreshing dip. Expect partly sunny weather with highs in the mid 80s. The winds will be coming at you from the Southeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour.
For Monday, the rip current risk remains moderate with similar surf heights and a chance of showers and thunderstorms. The weather will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 80s and Southeast winds at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
Looking ahead to the extended forecast, Tuesday through Thursday, expect surf heights of 1 to 2 feet, mostly sunny skies, and a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the mid to lower 80s with light Southeast or Southwest winds.
