Hey there, surfers and beachgoers! Welcome back to your favorite surf zone forecast for Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. Grab your boards and let's dive into the waves!

Today's forecast looks promising with a moderate rip current risk, surf heights ranging from 2 to 3 feet, and an extreme UV index - don't forget your sunscreen! The water temperature will be a comfy 80 to 85 degrees. Expect sunny skies and highs in the upper 80s with breezy northeast winds at 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Tomorrow, the rip current risk remains moderate with similar surf heights, but be prepared for a high chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. The weather will be mostly sunny with a mix of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will still be in the upper 80s with increasing east winds around 15 miles per hour.

Looking ahead to the rest of the forecast, Monday will bring slightly higher surf heights of 3 to 4 feet with a mix of sun and showers likely. Tuesday amps it up with 4 to 5 feet of surf height and the chance of thunderstorms. And don't forget Juneteenth, where we'll see 4 to 5 feet of swell and surprisingly pleasant conditions with a mix of sun and showers.

Moving on to our friends in Glynn and Camden counties, you'll be enjoying 1 to 2 feet of surf height today under sunny skies. Watch out for that moderate rip current risk and soak in the extreme UV index. Temperatures will hit around 90 degrees with northwest winds switching to east in the afternoon.

Tomorrow, the surf height and weather conditions are similar, but expect a moderate chance of thunderstorms. East winds will increase to around 15 miles per hour as the day progresses.

And looking into the extended forecast, you can anticipate 2 to 3 feet of surf height on Monday with a mix of sun and showers. Tuesday brings 3 to 4 feet of surf and the chance of more showers and storms. Finally, Juneteenth will offer up 3 to 4 feet of surf height with a chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Remember, always check the updated rip current risk and stay safe out there in the waves. For more details on thunderstorms, waterspouts, and UV index definitions, head to weather.gov/beach/jax.
