The Story Behind the Song

Some time ago, while going through a difficult season, Pastor Cindy Rudolph found herself in a faith crisis. As she called on the Lord, she was reminded of the story recorded in the Gospel of Mark, chapter 9. A father asked Jesus to heal his son, but because he had previously been disappointed, when he petitioned the Lord, he said, “If you are able to do anything, have pity on us and help us.” Jesus said to him, ‘If you are able!—All things can be done for the one who believes." Immediately the father of the child cried out, ‘I believe; help my unbelief!’
