After being released from the hospital she bailed him out of jail because she felt addicted to him although he realized he was not good for her. Feeling like she was losing herself and being described as looking hollow on the inside, Marica finally decided to end the relationship. In 2013 while spending the day out with her mother she was called to come home because he said her daughter needed her.
Upon arriving home, he began to hit her with his fists and attempt to strangle her. Relying on her faith she called on god to give her strength to get through this. She found the energy to fight him off enough that she could run to a neighbor’s house for help. Tune in to hear more about Marica’s story and how she is moving on.
