Lady Archer and KJ the Comic Guy are left alone in the studio while Mr. Chulak deals with motor issues, and floating his boat… back to shore. Hoping everything is okay.
And of course left to our own devices, talk turned to the recent announcements of creative changes in the executive management at DC Publishing. The appointments and promotions of key individuals to VP Marketing and Creative Services position as well as a new Executive Editor of New Publishing we hope will place DC on the track to recovery in the universe and maybe we can see changes that impact the DCU as well?
Once we got the talk of DC out of the way, this led into a long session about comic books, comic stories and in general, how we read our comics today. If you have opinions, we’d love to hear them. Links to all our social media are at the bottom of the notes.
We also talked about several Kickstarters either in progress, or delivering. If you like Sword and Sorcery, and especially if you liked First World or The Adventures of Parker Reef, you need to get out and back Chris Campana (@campanaart on Instagram) and his project Chosen – The kickstarter is a week in and is nearly 60% funded.
Also big shout outs to Filepe Cagno and Miles Greb on milestone achievements on their comic projects; The Few and Cursed, and After the Gold Rush, respectively.
