Why is it that some of us can easily extend forgiveness to others yet fail to grant ourselves the same understanding? Why, do we continue to judge and chastise ourselves? Is it that we hold ourselves to a higher standard than we do for others? While we may not judge others for their sins we are often consumed with feelings of guilt and shame for our own.
