Specialness is all we've known and the painful part is exposing it. There is seemingly a lot of heartbreak in this unconscious belief in loss. But as you go through it and get deeper into your purpose, you realize you will only be content with a happiness that is everlasting, that won't go away. Having the constant purpose of forgiveness will unify your perception and stabilize your emotions. You have to go through the darkness to the light. When that intense emotion of specialness is coming up, and you look at it so you can release it, it really has a different purpose. It is like a storm moving through and it shall pass. The healing process is intense and that perspective makes all the difference. Through miracle experiences we are shown that we really don't want those egoic patterns. Eventually they fade from awareness and are gone.
