We are live from Woodhaven Country Club in Louisville with 2 guests. The first is Terry Edwards from Capitol Golf Tour. This is a series of amateur events held at some of the best golf course throughout the Midwest. No matter how great the course (and they play some top “bucket list” courses like The Brickyard in Indianapolis, Firestone CC in Akron, the Pete Dye and the Donald Ross courses at French Lick, to name only a few. The cost to play in the tournament is just $70 per day. Most are 1 day events. Then we talk to Shawn Summerville from 3AGA, The African-American Amateur Golf Association. It is a new organization started here in Louisville to expand golf into communities that have not been exposed much to the game. Membership is open to everyone, all races, creeds, and handicaps!
