Got your sea legs ready? Here's a rundown of what to expect out on the waters off East Central Florida.

Currently, we're caught between a cold front below Florida and some high pressure hanging out up by Ohio Valley. The high's planning to slide on down towards the Southeast U.S., which means the cold front's likely going to head south towards Cuba.

What does all that mean for you sea dogs out there? Well, expect some not-so-great boating conditions through at least Saturday night due to rough seas. Better hold on tight! Oh, and heads up - a strong cold front might be paying us a visit by next Wednesday.

Now, if you're thinking about tackling the waters near Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet, watch out for those seas ranging from 7 to 9 feet. That's no joke, so better be prepared!

For you small craft adventurers closer to Volusia-Brevard County Line, expect northeast winds around 10 to 15 knots today, with seas hitting 5 to 7 feet, occasionally up to 9 feet. A moderate chop is on the menu, so steady as she goes!

As for the forecast ahead, well, it looks like we might get a break with the breezes slacking through the weekend. But keep an eye out for those hazardous conditions lurking around.
