Well, howdy there, water lovers! Time to dive into your Coastal Waters Forecast for Florida brought to you by the National Weather Service in Miami. Let's break it down for you in plain old English:
Today, you can expect some SW winds along the coast, about 5 to 10 knots, switching to the SE at 10 to 15 knots later in the day. Out in the Gulf Stream, it's a different story with light variable winds becoming southerly. Seas will be less than 2 feet, with a light chop on the Intracoastal waters. Oh, and keep an eye out for those possible afternoon showers and thunderstorms!
Tonight, Southern winds of 10 to 15 knots will keep things a bit breezy along the coast. Seas remain calm at less than 2 feet. Prepare for a smooth ride on the Intracoastal waters.
As we roll into the weekend, expect more of the same with southerly winds around 10 to 15 knots and seas remaining low. Showers and thunderstorms might crash the party, so pack your rain gear just in case!
Now, a friendly reminder – for more detailed info, check us out via the link in the show notes. Thank you for listening and make sure to subscribe to never miss an update!
