The Philadelphia Phillies (and every other MLB team) are at the mid-season point. The Phils have won 49 games as we're in the middle of this All-Star break, and we're certainly seeing some good things as of late on the field. This week, John Stolnis from TheGoodPhight.com and the Hittin' Season podcast joins us to get int this Phillies season, and dish out some grades. It was a great discussion!
But first, we (actually Jeff) spoke briefly about the salary of professional sports players and where their salaries may go in the future. (approx. 2:45)
What we threw down on the Table this week was an in-depth discussion with John Stolnis from The Good Phight and Hittin' Season podcast about this Phillies team. How should we be truly viewing Aaron Nola? Will Dave Dombrowski look to bolster the starting rotation? Young players that may make an impact with this ball club in the future. Plus, grades for the infield, outfield, starting pitching, bullpen, and manager. All of this and much more this week on the Table! (approx. 8:20)
