Where is your favorite place to meditate, reflect, or pray? I am totally digging my meditations in an infrared sauna at my gym. The meditations are quick – they’re only 10min long – and super intense, since it’s a closed safe container where I have nothing to do but surrender. Within seconds, my prefrontal cortex seems to shut down and enter a highly creative alpha / theta brainwave state where the ego and the thinking mind dissipates. This episode is by special request from one of my colleagues to describe those meditations, since every time is a wild trip and very different.
