August 12, 2000: New journal same attitude

How can you start off your next journey knowing the last one ended in such a firestorm? Nothings changed…except for the way I hold this book. What I create is thru failure—no writing, no painting, no radio station promos…nothing gets by me unless it’s failed first. My father walked out on me at the age of two—my mother chose a career over being at home. My first marriage failed. I failed at radio. What makes me great is this willingness to admit I am a failure.
