It's a bizarre situation that we're all in with no "March Madness" due to the outbreak worldwide and in the U.S. of the Coronavirus. So, we are making due with another special opening round edition of reminiscing about past tourneys on our show!

Host T.J. Rives has special guests as Hall of Fame basketball writer Mike DeCourcy of the Sporting News joins him to talk about his favorite memories of the opening Thursdays and Fridays of the tournament. And, the guys go over some specific upsets that stand out to them.

Then, DeShaun Tate of 92.9 FM "The Game" All Sportsradio in Atlanta is on the show to also talk first days of the tourney upsets and memorable moments, including UMBC winning as a 16 seed and his beloved Michigan St. Spartans being beaten in the 2016 tourney.

Finally, Matt Zemek of Badgerwire.com and USC Trojanwire.com is also on to remember about the 1991 tourney opening days and also tell the story of how the Pac 12's last tourney Champ, AZ, almost didn't get out of the first weekend, twice, in 1997.
