True, here we are 2,000 years later and the Lord has not yet returned to come get us, but how many members of the Church, who thought they had more time, have gone to glory to see Him? 'Only one life, ’twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.' Can I get an amen? Time is a very precious thing to possess, and something that begins to slip through our fingers from the moment we are born. You can always work and make more money, but you can't get yourself one more minute of time than the Lord gives you. How much time has the Lord given you? You can't know that until it's up, but at that moment, it's too late. In CT Studd's famous poem that we are always quoting from, 'Only One Life, Twill Soon Be Past', what's the main element he talks about? Time!
