Octubre 18: El poder de la voz de Dios.

Salmos 33:1‭-‬22 RVA2015:
Alégrense, oh justos, en el SEÑOR; a los rectos es hermosa la alabanza. Den gracias al SEÑOR con lira; cántenle con arpa de diez cuerdas. Cántenle un cántico nuevo; háganlo bien, tocando con júbilo. Porque recta es la palabra del SEÑOR, y toda su obra ha sido hecha con verdad. Él ama la justicia y el derecho; de la misericordia del SEÑOR está llena la tierra. Por la palabra del SEÑOR fueron hechos los cielos; todo el ejército de ellos fue hecho por el soplo de su boca. Él junta como un montón las aguas de los mares, y guarda en depósitos los océanos. Tema al SEÑOR toda la tierra; témanle todos los habitantes del mundo. Porque él dijo, y fue hecho; él mandó, y existió. El SEÑOR hace nulo el consejo de las naciones y frustra las maquinaciones de los pueblos. El consejo del SEÑOR permanecerá para siempre, y los pensamientos de su corazón por todas las generaciones. ¡Bienaventurada la nación de la cual el SEÑOR es Dios, el pueblo al cual escogió como posesión suya! El SEÑOR ve desde los cielos; mira a todos los hijos del hombre. Desde el lugar de su morada observa a todos los habitantes de la tierra. El que formó el corazón de todos ellos comprende todas sus obras. El rey no es librado por la multitud del ejército; el valiente no escapa por su mucha fuerza. Vano es el caballo para la victoria; a pesar de su gran fuerza no podrá librar. El ojo del SEÑOR está sobre los que le temen, sobre los que esperan en su misericordia, para librar el alma de ellos de la muerte y para darles vida en tiempos de hambre. Nuestra alma espera en el SEÑOR; él es nuestra ayuda y nuestro escudo. Por eso, nuestro corazón se alegra en él, porque en su santo nombre hemos confiado. Sea tu misericordia, oh SEÑOR, sobre nosotros según lo esperamos de ti.


Este es un salmo que exalta el poder que hay en la Palabra de Dios. ¡Cuando Dios habla,, se producen cosas extraordinarias y poderosas! Cuando Dios sopló, se formaron los astros celestiales, las galaxias y todo el universo. También por Su poder los océanos fueron formados, cada uno en su respectivo lugar.
¿Cómo Dios hace las cosas? ¡Las hace inmediatamente! Solamente con decirlo Él, las cosas se forman. Todo lo que existe es por la orden del Señor.

Después de leer esta descripción grandiosa de cómo Dios hizo la inmensidad del universo y la majestuosidad de la creación del mundo, David nos lleva a reconocer la soberanía de Dios, afirmando que ningún rey gana la guerra por sus propias fuerzas sino por la voluntad divina de Dios, mostrándonos que Dios tiene el control de todos los sucesos que ocurren en la tierra. Y no sólo eso, sino que va más allá con más detalles, llevándonos al corazón del ser humano, afirmando que Dios conoce lo más íntimo y profundo de los pensamientos de cada ser. Incluso el Señor pone su mirada, protegiendo a sus hijos y proveyendo para sus necesidades en tiempos de escasez.

Espero que miremos así al Señor, que Él es tan grande que los telescopios que el ser humano ha creado han podido explorar toda la inmensidad de Dios, y a la misma vez, no existe microscopio humano que haya explorado lo más profundo del corazón, el alma y la mente del ser humano. ¡Sólo Dios conoce las intenciones y los pensamientos del hombre! ¡Él sabe lo que anhelamos, sentimos y soñamos!
Deja que el Señor reine en tu vida para que tu hogar sea un lugar donde se manifieste la voz de Dios, que Él forme en tu hogar lo que necesitan, que Él traiga a la existencia esos planes y propósitos que tienen como hogar, y que Él los dirija conforme a Su voluntad soberana y no la nuestra.

Considera:
¿Eres testigo de cómo Dios ha creado bendiciones a tu favor donde antes no existían?
¿Sientes que el Señor te mira con agrado o sientes que el Señor está lejos de ti?

October 18: The power of God's voice.

Psalm 33:1-22:
Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous! For praise from the upright is beautiful. Praise the Lord with the harp; make melody to Him with an instrument of ten strings. Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with a shout of joy.
For the word of the Lord is right, and all His work is done in truth. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.
By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap; He lays up the deep in storehouses.
Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.
The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.
The Lord looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men. From the place of His dwelling He looks on all the inhabitants of the earth; He fashions their hearts individually; He considers all their works.
No king is saved by the multitude of an army; a mighty man is not delivered by great strength. A horse is a vain hope for safety; neither shall it deliver any by its great strength.
Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, on those who hope in His mercy, to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His holy name. Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, just as we hope in You.


This is a psalm that exalts the power in God's Word. When God speaks, extraordinary and powerful things happen! When God blew, the celestial stars, galaxies and the entire universe were formed. Also by His power the oceans were formed, each one in its respective place.
How does God do things? He does them immediately! Just by saying it, things are formed. Everything that exists is by the order of the Lord.

After reading this great description of how God made the vastness of the universe and the majesty of the creation of the world, David leads us to recognize the sovereignty of God, stating that no king wins the war by his own strength but by the divine will of God, showing us that God is in control of all events that occur on earth. And not only that, but it goes further with more details, taking us to the heart of the human being, affirming that God knows the most intimate and profound thoughts of each being. Even the Lord sets His sights, protecting His children and providing for their needs in times of scarcity.

I hope that we will thus look at the Lord, who is so great that the telescopes that the human being has created have been able to explore all the immensity of God, and at the same time, there is no human microscope that has explored the depths of the heart, soul and mind of the human being. Only God knows the intentions and thoughts of man! He knows what we long for, feel and dream about!
Let the Lord reign in your life so that your home is a place where the voice of God is manifested, that He forms in your home what you need, that He brings into existence those plans and purposes that you have as a home, and that He directs them according to His sovereign will and not ours.

Consider this:
Do you witness how God has created blessings for you where they did not exist before?
Do you feel that the Lord looks at you with pleasure or do you feel that the Lord is far from you?
