Versatile and veteran Showrunner and Executive Producer with two decades of experience in Film/Tv and journalism. He is the executive producer and Showrunner of the new 50 Cent and Mona Scott Young series Hip Hop Homicides on WeTV airing Nov 3 on @wetv He also was the EP/Showrunner of the Discovery Plus series Profiled: The Black Man on Discovery Plus.
William's company Prophet From It Entertainment recently produced two Viacom/BET Digital series Rebels With A Cause and a game show called Who Said That Shit. He was a Co-Executive Producer for the Critical Content BET show Copwatch America, a documentary series about police brutality. Williams worked as an EP at TMZ and was a Supervising Producer for FOX’s Who Shot Biggie and Tupac. The Oakland native was a Producer and co-host of the A&E Biography investigative series “Who Killed Tupac” about Tupac Shakur.

Emmy and 8-time NAACP Image award-winning Williams was The Executive Producer/Showrunner of the Centric/BET Networks docu-series BEING. Williams worked as a director and senior producer for TV One's acclaimed "Unsung" and "Unsung Hollywood" documentary series. The show won multiple NAACP Image Awards.

He was a Supervising Producer for Tv One's Celebrity Crime Files and produces BET’s award winning series "American Gangster" and​ has also produced films like the Paramount Pictures released "Wu: The Story of the Wu- Tang Clan"​ and the Universal/ Def Jam Records film "A Hustler's Ambition,"​ a documentary about Young Jeezy that aired on MTV2. The film was narrated by Samuel L. Jackson.

Williams worked as a Coordinating Producer for BET's hit gospel music series "Sunday Best."​ In 2004 he was as a development consultant for VH1 Networks. His other TV writing/producing credits include the NAACP Image Awards on NBC, BET Honors, BET Hip Hop Awards, BET Awards, NAACP Image Awards on FOX and the 2005 Hip Hop Honors on VH1. He was on NBC’s Emmy winning team for the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece.

Williams was formerly Executive Editor of The Source Magazine, covering the deaths of Tupac and Biggie and Interviewing Dr Dre, Suge Knight and more.
And in the mid 1990’s, he was a staff writer at the Los Angeles Times. He is the founder & president of Prophet From It Ent, which produces inspirational TV, film, mobile and web content. He serves as VP Strategy and Content for Hip Hop Tv
