In this episode, we talk about Paul’s growing up in a small town in the US, eventually leading him into Strategy Consulting and pursuing a career at McKinsey and moving to NYC. It did not take long though until Paul felt that there is something missing and he started searching for an alternative to the “traditional path”. We discuss challenges and opportunities of living a life on the “Pathless Path”. Importance of curiosity and openness to exploring new things. The value of learning things you don’t like doing and why “under-optimising” can be super liberating. You will learn why Paul has no interest in travelling.
