Do you ever wonder why you had to go through trauma, or hardship, or loss? #metoo I am just sharing from my heart today...

This story isn’t for those of you that can’t handle the RAW truth... it is a story that needs to be told.
I will reveal what happened through the stories and insight I share here each week. It is important for you to know that I also choose to celebrate what God is doing TODAY to turn all things for GOOD. I believe this journey is part of a BIGGER picture — which includes my continued healing— as I help others “get real” with themselves and HEAL! No Fear Ladies!! (Actually, HEALING can be scary, but you can choose courage. So go ahead and be afraid, but choose healing anyway!)

In this series I will be talking about abuse, mental illness, the “brunt” of addiction, alcohol, drugs and THE WORST... sex addiction.
Who helps the person that goes through the trauma of learning they are married to someone with these issues? Are there real support groups for the wives and ex-wives of sex addict husbands? And if there are, there’s so much shame attached to the topics that who would even really go? This kind of addict is an abuser and the person on the other end, their spouse, is a FULL OUT VICTIM— it’s horrific at best. The shock and trauma is more than most could handle— thank GOD I could “turn the channel” and start the journey of healing.... but I did it alone.
People find it hard to believe that I really had no idea the extent of the mental illness and addiction that was all kept in secret from me. I was so busy supporting him and my four children that I didn’t have the energy to question his many lies. I was 100% deceived— and I bet I am not the only one out there!!

The HARDEST PART towards healing was not being able to trust my own judgement anymore.... the PTSD was pretty rough too.

Stay tuned...
