(NOTE: Forgot to mention once you have fruits, you can dehydrate them without a dehydrator but that is strongly advised against. I recommend making the investment as well as getting a pressure cooker but you can make do without. For example, if you want to dehydrate your fruits without a dehydrator, you can cut two long holes out of the top of a shoebox lid, put some micropore tape on the holes, and put a humidity pack or two inside of the boxes. For creating sterile grain spawn, you can always boil the rice or other grain on a stove top just make sure you know the proper time to put it for for certain grain).
