mostra másThat lying Bastard Satan.
Today we are talking about Anxiety: Satan’s favorite weapon. When Satan is choosing his weapons for battle, and they’re all lined up in a row, I don’t believe he goes for weaknesses of the flesh first. I believe those come later in the battle. First, he goes for the mind. He knows that when the mind is weakened, it opens the door or him to bring other weapons in.
When we’re anxious:
We let fear paralyze us and forget to fear not
We drink too much eat too much, or overindulge to calm our nerves
We gossip to take attention off ourselves
We lean on people other than our spouses for emotional support because we’re looking for solace
We’re short-tempered with those around us
Most importantly we are disobedient to his call
How Satan uses Anxiety to confuse:
Anxiety is meant to confuse the mind. A confused mind is weak and gives the devil room to roam. Anxiety creates confusion and confusion multiplies anxiety: West Texas dust storm: Anxiety is the wind and confusion is the dust. The harder the wind blows, the more the dust clouds your visibility
Self Doubt
Matt 14:31 “Oh you of little faith why did you doubt?” When we find ourselves doubting, determine who you are doubting
Limiting Beliefs
Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Insecurity
Eph. 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them

1 Peter 2:4 “Rejected by Men but in the sight of God chosen and precious
Imposter Syndrome Confusing our identity: -telling us who we are not. God tells us who we are.
