This interview was recorded in the fall of 2019, months before the Coronavirus pandemic had first surfaced in Wuhan or spread to the United States. Dr. Arwady discusses her path to entering the medical profession and the public health landscape in Chicago. In many ways, Dr. Arwady is the consummate public servant, and her commitment to the City of Chicago and its citizens is readily apparent in this interview.
