Qari Adrian Ashir Kirk of Measured Tones Institute of Qur'an is sharing a juz' each day during the month of Ramadan for our campus community. Ashir is a 32 year old father of many daughters and one son, a husband, entrepreneur (owns a web development and branding company), and Quran & Islamic Studies teacher at the Midtown Mosque and Pleasant View School in Memphis, TN. Ashir started the foundation of his Qur'anic studies in Connecticut at Imam Zayd Shakir's community Masjid Al-Islam. He later studied Quran, Arabic, and Islamic Studies in Damascus, Syria for 4 years and then went on to further my Quranic studies in Morocco for another 2 years. He is a specialist reciting in the warsh style recitation.
