Until recently, a Boston audio operation branded as "The Urban Heat" could be heard on an AM radio station and FM translator it used via a time brokerage agreement. But then, things took an odd turn when the station owner found himself in financial troubles, and decided to silence the station, along with two others he owns.

That didn't stop Marv Neal, the Station Manager for "The Urban Heat," from having product to offer Black consumers at one of the most important times in U.S. history for the African-American community.
